Our pens/pencils are most often engraved and shipped out within 24 hours of ordering. That means that your pen or pencil will most likely arrive anywhere in the continental US within a week.
Add engraving at checkout and type what it should say. We set it in Univers — the same typeface as the brand — in the standard placement for each model, and burn it into the metal.
Four that always land: names or initials, a date that matters; the coordinates of home; or a phrase — “Measure twice” has been burned into more than one pencil here. Keep it short; it's burned into metal.

Any pen or pencil can be returned within 14 days of purchase, for any reason — full refund or exchange. Engraved pieces can come back too; there's a $20 fee per engraved item, since the engraving is burned into the metal. And if we got the engraving wrong, the exchange is free. That mistake would be ours.
