A pen or pencil can be returned for any reason within 14 days of purchase. Holiday orders placed between 1 October and 24 December can be returned through 15 January. We offer a complete satisfaction guarantee and will offer you a full refund or exchange if not satisfied.

For personalized items (with the exception of ceramic coated items), we do charge a $20 fee for each engraved item in the case of a return. Personalized Cerakote products incur a $100 charge in the case of a return. If exchanging for an inaccurate engraving due to our error, we will happily do that free of charge.

To begin a return or exchange simply contact returns@modernfuel.com with your order number and we'll provide you with return instructions.

We stand firmly behind the quality and workmanship of our products. We guarantee both the workmanship and materials for 100 years. The warranty is extended to the documented owner of the product. The buyer is by-default the documented owner in our system. In the case the product is gifted or handed-down, register the new owner with our support team (support@modernfuel.com) to ensure the warranty covers the owner. 

Chemical exposure, extreme physical trauma (dog chewing, encounter with machinery, etc), or extreme elements exposure will void warranty. Covered for responsible use by documented owner.

If the product doesn't live up to our promise, simply contact us at support@modernfuel.com with your order number and we'll fix or replace your item, free of charge.
